About Alvero
Alvero is a marketplace for second-hand PC components in India — built specifically to fix the trust problem that makes buying used hardware stressful.
Why we built this
Buying used PC parts in India today means posting on OLX or Facebook groups, dealing with anonymous sellers, making UPI payments upfront with no protection, and hoping the item actually shows up — or works as described.
The scams are real. The ghosting is real. The “works fine” GPU that arrives with a dead fan is real. And there is currently no platform that connects verified sellers with serious buyers and handles disputes properly.
Alvero exists to change that — a marketplace where every seller is verified, every listing is fraud-checked, and buyers can transact with confidence.
What makes Alvero different
Phone verification is required for all sellers. High-value listings require government ID. You always know you're dealing with a real person.
We are focused on PC hardware — GPUs, CPUs, RAM, motherboards, storage, and peripherals. A vertical focus means better search, better price intelligence, and a community that knows what it's talking about.
Meet the seller in person, inspect the item, and test it before completing the transaction. Local pickup is the default so you can power on a GPU before any money changes hands.
The founder
Builder and PC enthusiast. Got frustrated trying to buy a used GPU on OLX — got scammed once, found nothing better, and decided to build the platform that should have already existed.
